I know what you're thinking: it isn't even November! So why are we reading about the holidays already?
I'm so glad you asked! As many of you already know, we now carry a wider variety of products made by our friends and fellow makers, which means you have more to choose from this holiday season that ships immediately (yay)! But, unfortunately, the shipping world is going through some tough transitions, and it's hard to know when packages will arrive (boo). So, when should you place orders to receive them in time for the holidays?
Order by December 15, 2021
We ship all packages tracked and insured via USPS Priority Mail. According to the Post Office, the latest possible date to ship a Priority package and receive it by December 24 is December 18. Experience tells us that the Post Office is, perhaps, optimistic in their estimation. We expect a significant bump in order volume this year and are preparing accordingly. But we still need time to pick, inspect, sharpen, package, and ship your orders with the care they deserve. For that reason, our order-by deadline for guaranteed holiday delivery is December 15. But really: the sooner, the better!
We're taking a break! November 2-12, 2021
We are taking a break early this year and will be out of the shop from November 2 through November 12. You can place orders during that time, but they will ship after our return on the 12th.
